It said that windows was unable to save all the data for the files \MO2\logs\usvfs-_06-15-18.log, \MO2\plugins\data\OMODFramework.log, and \MO2\ModOrganizer.ini all lost data. After that I recieved the same message about plugin_python.dll failing to load from the last time it was started which i decided to skip. I ignored it and carried on as usual until eventually when I tried to open mo2 I got back to back notifications from google about a delayed write failed that happened multiple times for several files.

CAN I RUN IT OBLIVION TESTER MODS
After a week or two of playing nv with the mods from the guid and installing several others with it, I got a notification from windows saying "mod organizer failed to load the plugin 'plugin_python.dll' last time it was started". One of those guides was viva new vegas which I was able to follow along easily. Edited by PherimĪs background info, A few months ago I got into modding for fallout new vegas and while doing so i searched up several guides on the topic. Should be possible with symlinks and such.Īnyway, I just thought I'd point that out, even though MO is not the best choice for modding Oblivion to begin with, in my opinion and experience. My old installation still works with MO 1.3.11, the only problem is downloading and updating mods (again, not a big deal since I don't play it at the moment), but maybe I can somehow use MO2 for that and still run it through MO 1.3.11.

It's not a big deal since I'm not playing Oblivion at the moment and also using MO with Oblivion is a real pain for numerous reasons, so I think I will be using Wrye Bash or maybe Vortex the next time I want to mod a new game. Providing the hook.dll from the old MO doesn't change anything, though. I noticed that MO 2 doesn't place the hook.dll in the obse/plugins folder, and it also doesn't exist in the MO 2 installation folder. When trying to launch the game, the Oblivion.exe process is started and maxes out one CPU core, but it only uses a few MB RAM, which never increases and the game never actually starts. Switching from MO 1.3.11 to MO 2.1.3 because of the Nexus login changes I find that the script extender workaround doesn't work for me with Oblivion.
